The purpose of this panel and conveyor system is for transferring plastics liners from a liner forming machine, through a trimming cycle, to a liner hole piercing operation. The system utilizes Roach and JMH Custom Conveyors with a PLC 5 platform using ethernet and remote I/O communications for (2) HMI's, (16) VFDs, and over 1000 I/O points.
The purpose of this tooling is to accommodate different height refrigerator cabinets in the station that folds a flat sheet into a box. The tooling utilizes linear rails, air cylinders, and is designed with Aluminum for minimizing weight since it is mounted to a high velocity "wing" that supports the sheet as it is folded.
The purpose of this machine is to simultaneously index forward approximately 30 refrigerator cabinets (about 2 tons in 1.8 seconds). The machine was upgraded from a hydraulic motor and gearbox driving mechanical arms to a 2-axis servo motor system with a timing belt as a link between the old and new power transmission.
The purpose of these machines is to measure the position of a refrigerator cabinet after it has been rolled such that alignment adjustments can be made in the pre-roll station. The machine utilizes LVDT's and linear thrusters.
The purpose of this machine is to precisely align a flat sheet metal refrigerator cabinet before it is sent to a rolling process. The machine utilizes servos, ball screws, linear rails, air cylinders, and special tooling for part sensing and alignment.
The purpose of this machine is to transfer and bend a steel tube used in a defrosting operation on a refrigerator. The machine utilizes linear rails, air cylinders, line shaft drive, and a wedge lift technology developed by our conveyor division. The machine was designed, built, installed, programmed, and started up in a 6 week time frame.
The purpose of this machine is to flatten a rolled corner of a painted sheet metal refrigerator cabinet. The machine utilizes flatten presses, linear rails, and air cylinders. Four machines were designed, built, installed, programmed, and started up in 10 weeks.
The purpose of this machine is to pickup, rotate, transfer, and deposit brackets that are welded into the corner of a refrigerator cabinet. The machine utilizes linear thrusters, rotary actuators, and grippers to perform this operation.
These panels were designed, built, installed, programmed, and started up a chicken processing facility for their conveyor system.
Automation Engineering designs, builds, and tests these panels in our UL Rated Panel Shop before sending them to the customer.
The purpose of this machine is to load and unload from a press stamping operation a burner device for a commercial furnace. The machine utilizes servo motors, linear belt actuators, and rotary grippers. In addition, the press controls and drive motor were upgraded.
The purpose of this machine is to separate, load, and unload electric motor shafts for a knurling process. The machine utilizes a Baldor Mint Drive, Linear Motor, and HMI for controls.
The purpose of this machine is to clamp an industrial air conditioning panel. It is designed to support a load of approximately 375 lbs by a combination of pads with a high friction coefficient and pressure.
The purpose of this machine is to spin form a venturi fan shroud for an air conditioning unit. The machine utilizes hydraulics, a variable frequency drive, and numerous die tooling for spin forming and punching screw holes.
